Премьер-министр Кыргызской Республики Сооронбай Жээнбеков в рамках поездки Узбекистан 3 сентября с.г. в г. Самарканд встретился с Премьер-министром Республики Узбекистан Шавкатом Мирзиёевым.

Сооронбай Жээнбеков выразил слова соболезнования от имени Президента Кыргызской Республики Алмазбека Атамбаева, отметив ключевую роль первого Президента Республики Узбекистан Ислама Каримова в становлении суверенного Узбекистана, в укреплении международной позиции и социально-экономического развития страны.

Шавкат Мирзиёев выразил благодарность Президенту Кыргызской Республики за поддержку в тяжелые для страны и народа дни и выразил признательность Главе Правительства Сооронбаю Жээнбекову за участие в церемонии прощания Президента Республики Узбекистан Ислама Каримова.

Премьер-министры на встрече обсудили перспективы торгово-экономического партнерства, сотрудничества в сферах сельского хозяйства, транспортной инфраструктуры. Особое внимание было уделено приграничным вопросам.

На встрече приняли участие министр иностранных дел Кыргызской Республики Эрлан Абдылдаев, Заместитель Торага Жогорку Кенеша Кыргызской Республики Нурбек Алимбеков, депутат Жогорку Кенеша Анвар Артыков и Чрезвычайный и Полномочный посол Кыргызской Республики в Республике Узбекистан Данияр Сыдыков.
