The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic on the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border reports the following.

The Military officers of the Republic of Tajikistan, despite the previously reached agreements to ban carrying out any work on the undescribed sections of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border until the completion of the delimitation and demarcation process, violated the previously reached agreements, and at 03.00 a.m. on June 4, 2021 by penetrating deeper the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic at 1000 m installed a container on an undescribed section of the state border "Unzhu-Bulak" of the Chon-Alai district of the Osh region.

Thus, the Tajik side, violating the previously reached agreements, heated up the situation and aggravated the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, which does not correspond to good-neighborly and friendly relations.

In this regard, the head of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kamchybek Tashiev, who is the head of the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic on delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border, together with the special representative of the Cabinet of Ministers for border issues Nazirbek Borubaev and director of the State Agency for Land Resources Abdulat Myrzaev went to the indicated area to resolve the current situation
