Arab Coordination Group will take placei n Kyrgyzstan

Аrab Coordinating Group will take today, August 3, in the city of Cholpon-Ata.

This will be the fourth meeting of members of Arab financial institutions with members of the Kyrgyz Cabinet of Ministers, of the economic bloc.

Тhese days a delegation from leading Arab financial institutions is visiting Kyrgyzstan.

Arab Coordination Group it is - the Islamic Development Bank, the Saudi Development Fund, the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, the Abu Dhabi Development Fund, the OPEC International Development Fund.

Take part in from the Kyrgyz side, first vice premier Adylbek Kasymaliev, heads of ministries, the financial and economic bloc.

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) was established on December 18, 1973 at a meeting of finance ministers of the countries participating in the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and began its activities in October 1975. 

The main areas of activity are long-term lending and the provision of technical assistance for the implementation of development projects, mainly in such areas as agriculture (irrigation and melioration), education, healthcare, water supply, infrastructure development, provision of credit lines for small and private businesses and others.
