A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council was held in a narrow format at the State Residence "Ala-Archa."

Before the beginning of the meeting there was a ceremony of joint photographing of the heads of delegations. 

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov welcomed the participants of the meeting.

He expressed confidence that the outcomes of this meeting would be another important step in ensuring the dynamic development of the economies of the member states of the Union and enhancing the Union's effectiveness.

"I hope for constructive negotiations in this narrow format. I am convinced that, as fraternal states within a unified economic space, we will find consensus on all the agenda items of our meeting for the benefit of the prosperity of our peoples and the development of our Union," said Akylbek Japarov.

In total, the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council's agenda includes approximately 30 items.
