Information and Communications Department of Border Guard Service of SCNS of Kyrgyz Republic reports that as of 10p.m. September 18, 2022 the situation at the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border in Chon-Alay District of Osh Region and Batken Region continues to be tense with a tendency to stabilize.

Within the framework of the agreements reached, additional forces and means are being withdrawn from the state border to the points of permanent deployment.

The law enforcement agencies of the two republics control public order in the border areas and conduct joint patrols on the highway Khujand - Kanibadam/Arka - Borborduk.

The units of the Border Service of the SCNS , stationed on the Kyrgyz-Tajik section of the state border continue to serve in an enhanced mode
